B> BCOTTHELLtt University president Martin Meyerson is in the process of sec iring a speaker for spring commencement, though there is no word as to whether plans have been finalized, According to Senior Class President Myles Berkowitz, Meyerson"s suggestion for commencement speaker was brought before the University Council committee established to approve the speaker in the wake ol lail >cat's controvers;, surrounding the selection of Daniel Patrick Moynihan. Thai committee, comprised of the Faculty Senate chairman and chairman-elect, the Undergraduate Assembly and CH.KIII.IIC and Professional Student Assembly chairmen, another GAPSA member, the senior class president and another member of that board, and the United Minority Council head, approved the choice. Berkowitz said he did not know if Meyerson had gone ahead and invited the speaker, whom he called "an important American leader who is particularly interesting because ol the timing of the incoming Reagan administration and the new ( ongrei sional makeup."
